Maria Lynn Coyle is a solo practitioner with Coyle Law & Mediation PLLC. She earned a BA from Brandeis University, and a JD cum laude from Boston College Law School, and is a member of the Massachusetts State Bar (1986) and the Virginia State Bar (1995). Maria is currently a member of the family law sections of the Virginia State Bar Association, the Fairfax County Bar Association, and serves on the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court Committee.
Since 1997, Maria has practiced family law in Northern Virginia courts including Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun, Alexandria, and Arlington counties. Before forming her own firm, she practiced with Legal Services of Northern Virginia and The Baldwin Law Firm. Maria also serves as a court-appointed Guardian ad litem for children and for incapacitated adults, and is a family law conciliator in the Fairfax County Juvenile & Domestic Relations and Circuit Courts.
Prior to her admission in Virginia,
Maria was an associate with two general civil litigation firms in
Boston, Massachusetts, Murphy & O’Connell
and Burns & Levinson.
